One of My Home Away From Homes...
Last weekend, I took a nice mini vacation down to my family's beach house to get some rest and relaxation! Words cannot describe how it was so calming to listen to those ocean waves. Going to the beach during the winter is one of my favorite things to do. For one reason, the tourists are not there!! The beach is so calm and peaceful, that it's so easy to lose track of time!
Every morning while I am visiting the beach, I make sure to make it out to the ocean and feel the sand between my toes!
Now, I know it's a little difficult deciding on what to wear, but I always think, "What will I be doing on the beach?"
Some days I go for yoga pants and sweatshirt look, especially if I will be doing any running or if I brought the dogs out for a walk.
Other days I wear something super comfortable and movable, like a maxi!
Words cannot describe how much I love a good maxi!
Being that I am 5'4", I am always looking to be a little bit taller and the right maxi dress is a perfect answer!!
Not to mention, they are SUPER comfy!!!
**Plus, after a rainy start to the weekend, Sunday was 70 degrees!! Of course, it had to be unbelievably gorgeous the day I had to leave!! It was time for a maxi dress on the sandy ocean waves...
